Prevent every case of RHD that can be prevented

We work at the intersection of community health, clinical research, and health policy to ensure that no child dies from a disease that is both preventable and treatable. By strengthening local health systems and generating global evidence, we create lasting change.

A world free of Rheumatic Heart Disease

We envision a future where RHD no longer claims young lives in endemic regions — where every community has access to the screening, treatment, and education needed to break the cycle of streptococcal infection and cardiac damage.

Our Journey

Our Core Values

Human-Centered

Every decision is anchored in the wellbeing of the communities we serve. Patients come first — always.

Evidence-Based

Our interventions are grounded in rigorous research. We generate and apply the best available evidence.

Community Partnership

Sustainable change requires local ownership. We build capacity within communities, not dependency on external aid.

Health Equity

RHD disproportionately affects the most vulnerable. We work to close the gap between those who have access to care and those who don't.
